Mushroom Rice

INGREDIENTS NEEDED:

  • Uncooked Rice
  • Water
  • Sliced Fresh Mushrooms
  • Sliced Green Onion
  • Butter Substitute
  • Dash Garlic Powder
  • Black Pepper
  • Diced Fresh Cilantro

HOW TO MAKE:

  1. Place rice and water in medium size sauce pan.
  2. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and let simmer for 15-20 minutes or until rice absorbs water.
  3. Spray a non stick sauce pan with cooking spray and preheat over medium heat.
  4. Add mushrooms, onions and spices.
  5. Cook until tender.
  6. Stir vegetable mixture and cilantro into cooked rice.
